Dorset Living: Transform Your Life at Healing Haven

Hello everyone! Lillie here from Healing Haven. September and October have been a beautiful few months at Healing Haven, we have welcomed so many new faces into our community studio and I have felt a deep sense of gratitude for that. More so, I can see the vision that I had for Healing Haven coming to life and we are now receiving the recognition for our hard work.

Dorset Living released a full page article on Healing Haven in their October edition, page 106. Read in full here

A few months on from our last moment in the press and establishing our place in the Parkstone community. It seems a fitting time to think of “Dharma” in Sanskrit meaning, purpose.

Your Dharma is made up of many things; your message, your breakthroughs, your soul’s purpose, your excitement, your learnings, your creations, the big reason why you’re here. Your dharma might be your natural ability to make someone laugh or your caring motherly nature.

On an individual level, dharma can refer to a personal mission or purpose. Traditionally, an individual’s dharma is thought to be pre-determined. Depending on karma, a soul is born into a particular caste or social group, either as a reward or a punishment for actions in their past lives. Their path in life is set by universal laws, and the only way to progress is to live within this path and work toward their destined purpose. According to the Bhagavad Gita, it is better to do your own dharma poorly than to do another's well. Stay true to yourself and don’t compare your life’s path to someone else’s.

Dharma, has been a word very present in my thoughts the last few months, every challenge and obstacle I have endured brought me onto Healing Haven’s path. It is such a gift to be a part of Healing Haven and it’s own Dharma, to be a loving consistent support to the people in this community.

So whether you’ve walked by, read our article in Dorset Living, seen our recycled leaflets through your door. Whether you’re on a path to do what helps your soul shine, explore new ways of movement, desire to move your body with more compassion and gratitude

However you have found us and whatever brought you here, we are here and ready to welcome you into our sacred space with with warm big smiles!
